Fraser Valley Tattoo Show this weekend!

This weekend, beginning Friday evening (September 26th) at 5pm is the Fraser Valley tattoo show at the Agriplex in Cloverdale. I’ve been talking about it here and there on Instagram and during appointments, but this time I’ll actually be tattooing there!

I’ll be taking walk up tattoos Saturday and Sunday, and a lovely friend of mine will be helping with scheduling and answering questions for all of you. I’ve been thinking that I love the feeling of inspiration that conventions give me, and I always feel more connected to tattooing as a whole right after. I’ve not done many, one of them I didn’t even tattoo… but I’m hoping having somebody to help me will take a lot of stress off of my shoulders and I can focus on giving you all cool lil tattoos!

Besides the tattoo show, I’ve been booking steadily for the rest of the year and now it seems that I mainly have weekdays in November and December left, and then a few little spots here and there. So I am still open currently to new projects but we may be getting to the end of the open books period. I will update here and on instagram once that time has been filled.

I’ve also been gathering inspo for some new predrawn designs and flash that will be available once I finally do it. I’ve been doing a lot more artwork traditionally lately and have been playing around with gouache lots! It’s a funky medium, I like that it forces me to be really intentional with my brushstrokes and not get too fussed on blending. My nemesis always is way over blending and using WAYYY too much precision. So far this medium has been forcing me to really focus on value and the illusion of detail, and it’s really satisfying! I’ll be sharing some more of that work online in the coming weeks.

Happy Autumn to all of you, and to all my witchy sisters out there I hope the energy is providing you with security and a feeling of renewal coming into the colder seasons 🌗🍁
