Acrylic on cold press paper, and digital for the frame. When this was painted, it was the dead of winter and the idea of the birds outside being cold really got to me. I wanted to imagine a mysterious force providing them with a beautiful warmth, and the birds creating a temporary resting place to settle down during the long nights.
